Humble beginnings

The company was founded by Peter Merritt, a Wilmington native, as Cape Fear Design.

New HQ

With the steady growth in the area and increased demand for machine design, the company incorporated and increased the facility size.


Brian Smith came on board as the head of manufacturing and is now the Vice President.
